    Dear all,

The GMOS-South detector was replaced in summer 2014, and has a better red sensitivity and significantly reduced fringe amplitude than its predecessor.

For anyone who has used the instrument since 2014, have you noticed any behavior or effects that you had to deal with? For instance, I found that the cosmic ray incidence in the new detectors was high compared to the old ones. Also, have you done any experiments to characterize the detector? If you have used both detectors, what differences have you noticed?
