Satellite spots are used for precise astrometry of the star behind the coronagraph, for PSF registration during subtraction.

If the pipeline is not able to locate the satellite spots automatically, the user can input the locations manually.
In the primitive called “Measure satellite spot locations“, select loc_input = 1 and then define x1,y1,x2,y2,x3,y3,x4 and y4 by looking at one of the *_spdc FITS files with GPItv.
Be careful that after modifying/entering any value in the recipe editor, you have to press enter/return to be sure the values are taken in account.
Re-run the full recipe and it usually works.
